About the role:

Become an Administrator with our Hexham team and help ensure seamless operations in the Hunter Valley. This position is a maternity leave cover for at least 12 months, with the possibility of extension depending on future needs. It’s an excellent chance to take an active role in supporting our Hunter Valley staff.

In this role you will be required to:

  • Provide administrative support to the managers and employees within the section.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and customers and coordinate meetings and forums in a customer focused manner.
  • Perform a range of database systems processing and administrative functions through input, maintenance and reporting of data within various HR systems and communication tools.
  • Where applicable, coordinate equipment acquisition and supplies ordering for the team.
  • Coordinate, deliver and assist in the implementation of administrative programs and functional initiatives across the section.
  • Ensure all enquiries are responded to in a timely and efficient manner, within team SLAs, with commitment to high quality customer service including assistance with internal and third party vendor stakeholder management.
  • Create and process purchasing transactions in accordance with Customer Service Level Agreements.

 

About you:

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs and SAP to enhance administrative support.
  • Substantial knowledge of processes and procedures relating to HR, financial and procurement management systems.
  • Substantial level of skill in working in a team environment that is results oriented and demonstrates core organisational values of leadership, customer focus, creativity and innovation and respect for people in all actions.
  • Substantial level of organisational skills including meeting deadlines and providing a quality, professional service to meet customer needs.
  • Substantial level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Sound level of analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team and build relationships for results.
