The opportunity:

The Senior Brand Manager oversees the success of the Faulding, Pharmacy Choice, and Allersearch brands. This includes developing brand strategies, planning, category strategies, innovation, renovation, and pricing.

The main goal is to ensure that the brand and marketing strategies are carefully crafted and executed. Ultimately, the role aims to manage the brand development activities for the portfolio of brands in a way that drives consumer preference for Symbion Consumer Products in the chosen categories, leading to profitable outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Maintain and preserve the brands & categories, whilst working actively to grow the business by maximising the existing portfolio, exploring new business opportunities, and leading the development of a long-term NPD & innovation platform
  • Track and identify key trends & market forces at play in each category and, utilize this knowledge to develop Strategic Plans
  • Develop and execute annual brand/category plans, budgets & activities
  • Lead innovation projects for key brands/categories, and support across all projects within the funnel
  • Develop, monitor, and maximise marketing expenditure budget to achieve optimal ROI of spend
  • Deliver branded revenue targets 

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or marketing management
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in consumer goods brand-building roles
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic brand plans; including clear portfolio strategies and plans to grow brand equity, market share, volume, revenue and create sustainable competitive advantage
  • Experience in brand performance analysis and identifying consumer insights through global market trends, market share data and other available research tools
  • Commercial acumen (understanding COGS, margin, pricing & forecasting)
  • Project management including NPD implementation experience
  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship building, and communication skills
  • Strong influencing and presentation skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
