The Role:

Vital Medical Supplies is on the hunt for a motivated, energetic and customer focused Internal Sales Professional to be part of the outbound sales team and broader sales function. This is an entry level role where training will be provided.

On a daily basis, your role will see you managing a portfolio of existing customers, generating increased sales within that customer base, winning back any ‘lost’ business and introducing new accounts to Vital Medical Supplies. Working closely with channel marketing, you will also support promotional activity and communicate product information to customers, selling targeted and planned monthly campaigns.

This is a role where you will need to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of engagement and satisfaction, hence your strong customer and solutions focus, and desire to help your customers win, will be essential.

What you will do:

  • Maintain existing customers and grow new business within the territory;
  • Meet business targets for monthly campaigns conducted within your territory;
  • Regular and consistent contact with customers, following up on opportunities to create sales and generate profitable revenue;
  • Create and maintain customer profiles on all accounts via the CRM;
  • Measure, review and monitor customer purchasing patterns and trends;
  • Develop structured account and territory plans to manage your portfolio;
  • Drive promotions and create internal sales opportunities Territory Managers and interstate accounts.

What we are looking for:

  • Prior experience working within a Customer Service role;
  • Customer focus and ability to organise, prioritise and multitask;
  • Problem solver with an ability to leverage resources to find solutions;
  • Self-motivated with high level of initiative and resilience to handle setbacks;
  • Strong desire to learn and ability to pick things up quickly.
