The opportunity:

Reporting into the Head of IT Portfolio Delivery, the IT Project Coordinator is responsible for playing a key role in supporting the delivery of reporting, scheduling, escalation, tracking and communication functions for the Projects team. This role will play a pivotal role, wearing multiple hats – from guaranteeing projects meet scope, budget, and deadlines to fostering strong client relationships and delivering exceptional reporting and governance using the PPM tool.

What you will do:

  • Maintain, monitor, and govern standards and processes across the key project’s schedules, resources, risks with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and scope.
  • Balancing Group IT project management requirements whilst ensuring that business needs are met.
  • Effectively managing projects from the initiation, execution and review stages including co-ordination of the business and IT resources required for success.
  • Upholding governance across the PPM tool for portfolios, projects, resourcing, and reporting.
  • Balance the resource requirements across IT.
  • Assist with the delivery of coordination services for a diverse team of project managers and business analysts working across strategic initiatives and BAU activities.
  • Assist with the delivery of communications for the business and project Sponsors for projects and BAU activities undertaken by the team, to both showcase the work undertaken and support delivery.
  • Support the publication of best practice materials to support the team.
  • Support colleagues to ensure IT processes and practices are integrated and complementary.
  • Support the management of communications with key partners, vendors, and potential partners.

  • Strong drive and ambition to drive projects through the project life cycle.
