The Organisation

Climateworks Centre is an expert, independent adviser, acting as a bridge between research and action to accelerate the transition to net zero emissions for Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. It also benefits from strong relationships with an international network of affiliated organisations that support effective policies, financing, and action for greenhouse gas emissions reductions.

The Opportunity

Drive the Future of Climate Education: Join Us as a Sales Lead.

Are you passionate about shaping the future of our planet? Do you have the drive to lead sales efforts for cutting-edge educational offerings in the climate and net zero space? We are seeking a Sales Lead who is not just looking for a job, but a mission. A mission to drive revenue growth, foster new stakeholder relationships, and ensure the success of our professional education suite.

Your Role:

  • Strategic Growth: Spearhead sales strategies and contribute to our overarching goals at Climateworks and MSDI
  • Dynamic Sales Execution: From prospecting to closing deals, you’ll be the force behind our sales success
  • Relationship Mastery: Build and nurture relationships with industry, government, and academia, navigating complex negotiations with ease
  • Continuous Improvement: Manage a culture of excellence in sales practices, customer service, and collaborative success
  • Expertise and Leadership: Offer your sales acumen and market insights to drive our educational programs to new heights

Your Impact:

  • Autonomous Leadership: Report directly to the Program and Business Lead, working with autonomy to make a difference

Your Qualifications:

  • Advanced Expertise: Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in marketing, sales, or related fields
  • Proven Success: A track record of sales excellence and strategic business development

Your Skills:

  • Sales Acumen: Strong business awareness with the ability to navigate complex decisions
  • Communication Excellence: Superb interpersonal skills to build consensus and achieve sales goals
  • Strategic Planning: Highly developed organizational skills, with a knack for prioritizing impactful activities
