Eligibility
To apply for a domestic graduate research scholarship, you must be:
- an Australian citizen
- an Australian permanent resident
- an New Zealand citizen
You must also meet Monash University’s admission requirements and demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and independent research skills. Applicants would normally have, or be completing, an H1 honours degree or an equivalent bachelor’s or master’s qualification. Applicants who already hold a PhD are not eligible.
Students enrolled in the Master of Engineering Science (Research) may be able to transfer to a PhD, subject to academic performance and approval.
