We are seeking a Research Fellow to contribute to our innovative research in travel behaviour and transport modelling, with a focus on active travel. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that improve understanding of how people move through urban environments. The successful candidate will apply their expertise in agent-based modelling and travel demand analysis to develop new approaches that inform transport planning and promote sustainable travel behaviours.

As part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, the Research Fellow will collaborate closely with colleagues and project stakeholders to achieve shared research objectives. The position involves conducting independent and team-based research, preparing high-quality publications and contributing to funding proposals. The role will also provide advice to postgraduate students and actively engage in research meetings and organisational activities to support the broader goals of the research program.

This position also requires someone with demonstrated experience in travel behaviour research and agent-based modelling, along with proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python. Strong analytical skills and a willingness to engage with diverse stakeholders is also essential.
