The Opportunity

We have two exciting opportunities for ambitious academics to join the Environmental Informatics Hub as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer within the Department of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Information Technology. Drive impactful, interdisciplinary teaching and research that helps reverse the biodiversity crisis and tackle climate change while balancing society’s diverse needs.

The Hub aims to become a global leader in developing integrated computer science solutions for a nature positive planet. The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer is expected to deliver innovative teaching and research that addresses real world environmental challenges while advancing fundamental disciplinary knowledge. The Senior Lecturer will have demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to interdisciplinary research initiatives that deliver impact beyond academia, particularly in areas such as environmental informatics, digital sustainability, or AI for social and environmental good.
