The Opportunity

The Monash mRNA Workforce Training Centre is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Education-Focused).

The Lecturer (Education-focussed) is expected to contribute actively to the design, development and delivery of short courses within the Centre, collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs) and consultants, and other relevant stakeholders from industry, government and academia. They will be principally engaged in program design, development and delivery (including teaching and assessment) that responds to industry needs. 

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the design and delivery of asynchronous and synchronous learning materials that are innovative, active, and deliver enhanced workforce capabilities. Additionally, you will lead the implementation of programs to high standards, demonstrating professional organisation skills and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background in mRNA, pharmaceutical and formulation science, and molecular and cell biology, or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a doctoral qualification or equivalent research and teaching experience.
