The Opportunity

Monash Residential Services (MRS) is seeking a proactive and service-driven Food Services Coordinator (Outlets) to lead the delivery of high-quality food services across campuses. 

This hands-on role is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of our food outlets, including supervising kitchen and front-of-house teams, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with food safety and OHS standards and assisting with cooking or food preparation when required. This position is fully on-site and may involve occasional weekend or evening work, depending on operational needs.

With the support of your team, your role will see you:

  • Oversee food preparation and service delivery across multiple outlets

  • Coordinate and support kitchen and Front of House staff

  • Monitor and maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service innovation

  • Provide timely and practical support to students, staff, and stakeholders 

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring strong leadership and coordination skills, a commitment to service excellence, and a solid understanding of food operations. Your ability to manage competing priorities, build positive relationships, and drive operational improvements will be key to your success.
