The Opportunity

The Senior Student Services Officer is responsible for providing expert administrative support to ensure smooth and effective student and academic services within the Monash Business School. This role supports key stages of the student lifecycle, including admissions, enrolment, and course progression, while focusing on operational excellence and delivering specialist support within targeted student services areas.

The role provides comprehensive management of complex tasks such as scheduling, project coordination, committee support, and resource allocation within established timelines. You will work in a team, ensuring compliance with University policies and promoting a strong customer focus. You will deliver prompt issue resolution while maintaining confidentiality, manage data input and analysis securely, provide specialist advice, drive continuous improvement, and build effective relationships to support efficient service delivery.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate excellent administrative skills with a proven ability to develop and implement effective operational processes. You will possess strong organisational capabilities, effectively prioritising tasks and managing time to meet deadlines. You will have advanced computer literacy, including experience with student administration systems or the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication, enable confident engagement with diverse stakeholders and the ability to manage complex issues professionally and clearly.
