The Opportunity

The Monash Business School has an exciting opportunity for two Administrative Officers to join our team. One is a continuing role, and one is a fixed term role until January 2026. 

In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the effective management and operation of the Department. You’ll coordinate cross-functional services and support activities across key areas, including the Faculty’s Occupational Health and Safety agenda, Orientation and Teaching Associate Induction programs, and other learning and teaching initiatives.You’ll build strong relationships with staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery and operate with professionalism, sound judgement, and attention to detail in all aspects of your work.

As the successful candidate, you will have excellent administrative skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective operational processes and systems. You will bring strong organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. A commitment to high-quality customer service and a proactive, hands-on approach will be key to your success. You will also demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while exercising sound judgement and independence when required, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
