The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Indigenous Innovation and Experience Programs the focus of this role will be to support the development and delivery of Indigenous components of the University’s rich experience agenda, including the Parbinata program. This flagship initiative will transform the Clayton campus into a hub for Indigenous knowledge sharing, integrating First Nations perspectives into education, student life and environmental guardianship. This role will play an important part in the development and implementation of Parbinata’s programs for women and gender diverse people.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale, high-impact projects in response to strategic business requirements. This includes program design and delivery; managing individual project phases from conception to final delivery, drawing on current project management methodologies; creating and obtaining approval of business cases and budgets; identifying and engaging relevant stakeholders (internal and external); overseeing the development of project documentation and reports; managing project progress and performance against milestones; and coordinating and reporting on post-implementation reviews.

The appointee will have:
● A postgraduate qualification and extensive project management experience; or
● extensive management experience and proven management expertise; or
● an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
