The Opportunity

Disability Support Services are seeking a Senior Manager, Disability Support Services - a motivated individual ready to drive meaningful change and shape the future of our services.

We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Disability Support Services to lead a critical team that ensures students with disability can access, participate and thrive at Monash. This is a rare opportunity to influence strategy, uplift service delivery, and drive meaningful change across a complex and evolving university environment.

In this senior leadership role, you’ll guide a dedicated team of specialists, fostering a culture of excellence in student engagement and service delivery. You’ll provide high‑level advice to senior executives, champion inclusive practice, and ensure the University meets its obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Disability Standards for Education 2005. Your work will shape policies, foster collaboration, strengthen operational effectiveness, and enhance the visibility and impact of student disability support across the University.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong inclusive educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive management experience and proven management expertise; or a combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Change management experience is desirable.
