The Opportunity

Monash Ventures is seeking a visionary Head of Fund Operations to design and lead the operational engine that powers our investment strategy. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-impact leadership team driving commercialisation and innovation at scale.

As the Head of Fund Operations, you’ll be at the heart of our investment execution, designing scalable systems, embedding best-practice governance, and enabling disciplined capital deployment across our Follow-On Fund, Pre-Seed Fund, and strategic balance sheet initiatives.

You’ll bring deep expertise in venture capital operations, institutional fund governance, and compliance oversight, and play a pivotal role in aligning our investment activities with university protocols and global standards.

What you’ll lead:

  • End-to-end fund operations across multiple investment vehicles
  • Governance frameworks and due diligence processes
  • Investment Committee support and institutional reporting
  • Portfolio performance tracking and KPI dashboards
  • Founder education and governance enablement for investee companies

What you’ll need:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in finance or investment management
  • CPA or CA accreditation
  • Proven experience in venture capital or institutional fund operations
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
  • Passion for innovation and university-based commercialisation
