The Opportunity
Join a Faculty that is actively reimagining teaching and learning. As an Educational Designer, you will be at the forefront of designing the next generation of learning experiences, driving innovation in curriculum, technology and learning spaces. This role offers a genuine platform to influence how thousands of students learn, collaborate and succeed, and to shape the capability and confidence of academic staff across the Faculty.
This is your chance to:
- Lead major course and unit enhancement projects that transform learning and elevate student experience
- Introduce and trial cutting edge learning technologies, online platforms and contemporary pedagogies at scale
- Work directly with academics to co design resources, rethink assessment, and create engaging and inclusive blended and active learning environments
- Influence strategic thinking across the Faculty and Monash Learning and Teaching through your role in the University’s Education Design Community of Practice
- Shape the standards, templates and practices that will guide future educational design across the University
- Drive the development of professional learning programs that uplift teaching capability and foster innovation
- Contribute ideas and insight to the design of learning spaces and digital technologies that enable better teaching and collaboration
- Scan global higher education trends and bring emerging approaches, ideas and frameworks into real practice
