The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Manager to join the Precision Medicine team and lead the delivery of high-level technical services critical to research success. The role oversees complex specimen management and biorepository operations, ensuring quality, compliance and operational excellence across the program.

Working at both strategic and operational levels, the position manages technical programs, resources and risk, contributes to planning and budgeting and provides authoritative technical advice and training. It also supports research outputs, funding applications and the adoption of contemporary methodologies and technologies in biobanking and biological sciences.

We are seeking someone with extensive technical and operational experience complimented with relevant postgraduate qualifications. Highly developed analytical, organisational and communication skills are essential to deliver specialist technical leadership in a complex research environment.
