We are pleased to advise that we seek an Infrastructure Delivery Specialist (EUC). Based in Beijing and reporting to Enterprise Infrastructure Lead, the purpose of this job is to take overall responsibility for daily operation support, work closely with internal Technology team and its external (outsourcing) partners.
Responsibility:
- Maintain and monitor all Hosting and EUC (End User Computing) systems in day-to-day to meet MMG's current and future requirements.
- Work with line manager, cross function IT team members and IT partners to design, optimize and deliver infrastructure solutions.
- Responsible for management, maintenance of storage, virtualised environment, servers, network devices, and productivity tools.
- Monitor systems and identify performance issues, work within strict time frames and elevate incidents within defined timeframes.
- Monitors service delivery compliance to agreed SLA between MMG and service providers
- Work collaboratively with 3rd party service providers to ensure operation excellent. Maintain professional working relationships with all 3rd party service providers and vendors to ensure services received meet expected requirements of contract and SLAs
- Professionally represent the infrastructure team as a technical consultant on projects.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.
- Reinforce MMG’s technology standards, process and framework in day to day operations
- Work with partner to review the data recovery and backup solutions, (on-premise + cloud) DC environment, EUC (End User Computing) solutions
To be considered, candidates must have
• Minimum 8 years’ experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in a complex ICT environment
• Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in the use of following technologies;
o Microsoft O365
o Microsoft Azure
o Microsoft Server 2012 or above
o Microsoft Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Site & Services, Group Policy)
o Microsoft SCCM software distribution
o Microsoft Exchange 2013 or above
o VMware vSphere 6.0 or above
o Enterprise backup solution and DR plan
o In depth knowledge of Intel platform, SAN, backup, file/print server, etc
• Experience working with enterprise server hardware (Dell/HP) – Servers, Blade Chassis and Storage.
• Basic understanding of enterprise IT security concepts
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ITIL incident/change/problem management tool and processes (i.e. Service Now)
- Able to work through ITIL service desk technologies, attending daily support meetings, CAB meetings, PIR meetings for daily work.
- Ability to identify incident trends in order to elevate incidents in accordance with standard protocols
- Ability to perform complex troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose, and correct problems; and to identify trends in order to elevate incidents in accordance with standard protocols/processes.
- Can work independently and within a team. Able to upskill independently and apply new skills to existing and upcoming projects
- Experience working in outsourced environment and ability to maintain good working relationships with third party service providers and vendors
- Tertiary degree in computer science or related areas an advantage or relevant field;
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and with stakeholders from all levels of the business (team members to executives)
- Global or regional IT support experience.
- Cross culture / boards collaboration, be able to work under pressure.
