Business Development Executive – Queenstown / Wanaka

Your Impact
As a Business Development Executive covering the stunning Southern Lakes region (Queenstown and Wanaka), you’ll represent Asahi Lifestyle Beverages’ iconic portfolio in market — driving visibility, distribution and strong customer partnerships across key route and retail accounts. You’ll play a hands-on role executing commercial and promotional plans while ensuring every store visit delivers real impact and value for our customers.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage approximately 14–25 customer visits per call cycle, depending on store volume.

• Deliver agreed sales, distribution and promotional targets across your territory.

• Build lasting trade relationships through excellent service, activation and in-store execution.

• Maximise product visibility via off-location displays, POS and merchandising standards.

• Collaborate with your Business Development Manager to optimise promotions and category growth initiatives.

• Monitor competitor activity and ensure Asahi remains front of mind and ahead of category trends.

• No overnight travel currently required, though future expansion may include occasional travel to Dunedin/Invercargill.

About You
You’re an energetic self-starter who thrives in customer-facing roles and takes pride in owning your patch. With a background in FMCG or beverage sales, you bring strong communication, problem-solving and planning skills to every interaction. You enjoy being on the road, engaging with diverse customers, and seeing the tangible results of your work in market.
