Senior Planner – Replenishment | Southbank, VIC

Your Impact:

As Senior Planner – Replenishment, you’ll lead our Distribution Planning team overseeing intercompany supply across Asahi Beverages’ Australian business. You’ll optimise inventory flow and replenishment planning across our national network — balancing supply and demand, managing cost, and ensuring our customers always get the products they love, when they need them. This is a leadership role where you’ll empower a team to drive planning excellence and continuous improvement every day.

Please note: this role is 12mth Fixed Term Contract

 

Key Responsibilities:

This role requires a strong, collaborative leader who can support and steer the team through change as we transition to a new planning system.

This includes;

  • Lead and coach a team of Distribution Planners managing intercompany replenishment flows.
  • Partner with logistics, warehousing, and transport to deliver efficient and cost-effective distribution plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement of distribution planning processes and tools across the Australian network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance service, cost, and inventory optimisation.
  • Monitor and improve key planning KPIs, ensuring strong customer service levels.
  • Act as a key business partner for major optimisation projects across ERPs, Planning tools & physical network re-design to ensure supply alignment and service excellence.

 

About You:

  • Proven experience in supply chain or distribution planning within FMCG, retail, or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, supply planning, and inventory management principles.
  • People leadership capability, you’re able to coach, influence and engage a diverse team.
  • Analytical mindset with strong business and financial acumen.
  • Passionate about driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, or related field advantageous.
