About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Medicine team as a Business Support Officer, where you will be responsible for:

  • Providing a high level of administrative support to the Division.
  • Monitoring and assisting with the Division’s Human Resource management function.
  • Supporting the Business Support Consultant with contract management, recruitment processes, new staff onboarding and orientation, system access requests, medical timesheet management, following up Payroll enquiries and conducting audits of Payroll data.
  • Maintaining systems and processes to assist the streamlining and efficiency of timely processes and workload within the Division.
  • Project and research tasks may also be required.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal.
  • High level of interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently within a small team environment and to effectively resolve conflict.
  • Proven ability to recognise and discreetly deal with confidential matters; demonstrate integrity of
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of independence, to determine priorities and to anticipate the requirements of Executive Level Managers.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, highlighting sound organisational skills and the ability to prioritise varying and conflicting workloads.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective office systems, procedures and technologies.
