About the position
The Senior Coordinator, Regional Health and Wellbeing, will deliver high-quality support services to students, provide consultation to staff regarding student mental health and wellbeing, and contribute to wellbeing and engagement initiatives on campus.
As part of a multi-campus team, the Senior Coordinator, Regional Health and Wellbeing, will represent Wellbeing Services at the Shepparton campus, serving as a key point of contact for students seeking wellbeing support and information. They will provide assessment, therapeutic counselling, crisis intervention, case coordination, and referrals. Additionally, they will coordinate care and offer tailored support for students facing significant psychosocial challenges that impact their personal and academic success.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have
• Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or equivalent including registration/membership the relevant body, e.g., registration with AHPRA, or membership with AASW a
• Experience, in assessment, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and case management, including working with complex client presentations and diverse client groups.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams.
• Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and personal management skills.
• Capacity to be flexible in a dynamic environment.
