About the Role
La Trobe University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Delivery Specialist to lead and manage strategic IT projects within our Delivery and Enablement function. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and enhancing the university’s IT capabilities, aligning with our 2030 strategic roadmap.
As a key leader, you will be responsible for:
- Shaping the strategic direction of assigned projects
- Leading policy development and review
- Managing project resources, budgets, and performance
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Developing and mentoring a high-performing project team
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for a strategic thinker and experienced IT project delivery leader. To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Proven experience managing complex IT projects in enterprise environments and domains (e.g. Salesforce CRM, Finance, Student Administration, Learning Management, Research)
- Expertise in Agile, PRINCE2, and PMBOK project management methodologies
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Experience managing vendors
- Experience in policy development and implementation
- A track record of managing budgets exceeding $3M
- A relevant degree with extensive experience, or postgraduate qualifications with equivalent expertise
