We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Consultant, Performance to join our team on a fixed-term basis to support the delivery of a strategic project focused on optimising employee performance across the University.

In this project-based role, you’ll be part of the People and Culture Division, contributing to the design and implementation of targeted initiatives that strengthen performance practices, build the capability of our leaders, and create greater clarity and consistency in how performance is supported.

You’ll take a hands-on role in coordinating the project, partnering with leaders and key stakeholders, and shaping tools, resources, and support that enable staff and leaders to engage confidently in performance improvement. Whether it’s driving project milestones, developing practical and scalable solutions, or embedding sustainable change, you’ll bring structure, initiative, and a strong focus on outcomes.

You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team that’s passionate about creating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. We’re looking for someone who’s delivery-focused, adaptable, and thrives on solving complex problems through practical solutions. Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have

  • A passion for enabling performance and helping people do their best work.
  • Strong project coordination skills, with experience managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
  • Strong coaching skills and the demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders.
  • A delivery mindset with high attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A relevant degree and experience, or an equivalent combination of knowledge and capability gained through training or professional practice.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to performance improvement projects in large or complex organisations.

*While the appointment is for 6 months, there is potential for extension for the right candidate should the project continue.
