What You'll Do
As our Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, you’ll set the standard for workplace safety across the business. This is a strategic and high-impact role where you’ll lead our H&S vision, embed best practice, and inspire a culture of care and accountability.
You’ll own the development and implementation of our Health and Safety strategy, ensuring we exceed compliance and truly protect our people, contractors, and the public. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, bring people on the journey, and manage a passionate H&S team that’s ready to make a difference.
Responsibilities Include:
- Drive and deliver a business-wide Health & Safety strategy
- Set and oversee our H&S management plan
- Support leaders in embedding safety across their teams
- Define and track H&S KPIs to drive performance
- Provide expert advice across all levels of the organisation
- Ensure robust risk management and compliance
- Lead critical incident investigations and implement key learnings
- Shape an organisation-wide risk profile with clear priorities for action
- Build capability and engagement within the H&S team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external authorities
What You'll Bring
- A degree in OHS, Environmental Science or related field
- Industry-recognised certification (desirable)
- 7–10 years’ experience in senior H&S or HR leadership
- Proven success leading H&S strategy in complex environments
- Strong knowledge of Australian H&S legislation and best practice
- Experience engaging boards and executive teams
- A collaborative, strategic mindset and genuine passion for safety
