About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Finance – Technology & Corporate to lead financial strategy and decision support across our Technology and Corporate functions. In this part-time (job share), 12-month opportunity, you’ll be reporting to the GM – Commercial Finance and work closely with senior executives and their leadership teams to drive financial outcomes, optimise performance, and support strategic priorities. You will take ownership of end-to-end P&Ls, guide a high-performing Finance team (onshore and offshore), and shape commercial decisions across a dynamic and fast-evolving portfolio.

Therefore, your key responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, month-end close and reporting for Technology & Corporate
• Trusted Finance partner to CTTO, CFO, CLO, CRO, CPO and their leadership teams
• Lead commercial processes for Telstra, Cloud billing, Data Centre, AWS and Accenture
• Drive labour budgeting, capitalisation governance and cost allocations
• Provide expert input into commercial negotiations and business cases
• Lead, mentor and manage a Finance team (onshore and offshore)
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

About You

You are an experienced finance leader who combines strong commercial acumen with deep technical expertise and excellent stakeholder management.

You’ll bring:

• 10+ years’ experience in financial operations with proven leadership capability
• Experience influencing and partnering with C-suite stakeholders
• Strong understanding of technology and corporate cost drivers
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, including offshore delivery
• Advanced financial reporting, modelling and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes
