Boral Construction Materials is seeking of proactive individuals with a 'can do' attitude to join our Allocation team based in our North Ryde Contact Centre. 

Reporting to the Allocations Team Lead, you'd will be responsible for scheduling products to meet customer needs at the lowest cost.  You will be provided the opportunity to work between our operating hours of 6am-5 pm Monday to Friday and a rotating Saturday from 6- 12pm.  

  Your day will involve:  

  • Identifying and delivering flexible, effective allocation models and service opportunities  

  • Developing and fostering effective intra/intercompany relationships and communication with our delivery partners in sales, fleet and operations   

  • Ensuring timely and accurate customer communications are aligned with effective allocations to exceed customer expectations  

  • Forward planning to provide efficient and effective logistics and resource allocation using Boral smart technology e.g. Inform  

  • Facilitating order fulfilment through effective order scheduling to maximise volume, profitability and customer service  

  • Ensuring key customers have service expectations consistently met and identifying additional sales and service opportunities  

  

What are we looking for?  

  • Strong customer centric focus  

  • Previous experience in allocations (desirable but not essential)  

  • Previous logistics experience including chain of responsibility, fatigue management and mass management knowledge (desirable but not essential)  

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment  

  • Experience in the transport or construction industry (desirable but not essential)  

  • Good knowledge on Sydney/NSW metropolitan geographical area.

Note: This role requires a half day on Saturdays worked around a rotating roaster across the wider allocations team.
