Your next opportunity 

Boral Technical Services are seeking an energetic and proactive individual to provide administrative support to the Technical Services NSW team. This role is based at Baulkham Hills Laboratory and reports to the Technical Supervisor.  

The key focus of this role will be to liaise between customers, the laboratory and the Boral Technical Team in functions such as report delivery, invoicing and admin support. 

Your day will involve: 

  • Answering incoming calls - taking messages and re-directing calls as required 
  • Dealing with email enquiries 
  • Completing results summary sheets (data management) 
  • Arranging Project medicals and mobilising new project staff 
  • Diary management and arranging appointments, booking meeting rooms and conference facilities 
  • Data entry (QEST – create reports and billing documents) 
  • General office duties such as tracking office supplies and ordering stationary & equipment as necessary 
  • Providing administrative support to Laboratory Managers & staff 
  • Export Billing 
  • Produce quotes of Concrete Testing for customers (internal and external) 

What are we looking for? 

  • Experience providing administrative support to a team in a fast paced and complex environment. 
  • Proficiency in using applications such as Qest and Oracle will be highly desirable but not essential. 
  • A strong customer focus and help drive a positive customer experience. 
  • The ability to work effectively in a team, positively contributing to the team environment. 
  • Strong organisational skills, and ability to prioritise demands & escalate issues when required. 
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written. 
  • Structured problem solving and decision making.
