Boral is seeking a responsible, organised and experienced professional driver to operate a Road Train vehicle at our Toowoomba Quarry. As a Boral Driver, you will be responsible for loading and delivering of quarry and asphalt materials to customer sites. The nature of this role requires flexibility to work away from home for a period of up to 2 weeks at a time. 

Your day will involve:

  • Delivery of quarry materials which includes responsibility for compliance with axle weights tolerances and using smart track system to capture data
  • Conducting daily checks on the vehicle and reporting maintenance as required
  • Actively monitoring and maintaining compliance with axle weight tolerances
  • Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materials
  • Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences

What are we looking for?

  • Current MC (multi combination) drivers licence with related side tipper experience
  • Proven Road Train experience
  • Must be able to commit to working away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time and be comfortable to live in a truck.
  • Mechanical knowledge desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations
