Your next opportunity
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our warehouse based at Prestons.
Your day will involve:
- Unloading and loading vehicles using warehousing machinery, such as forklifts, to lift, place and move items and pallets
- Goods inwards processing, checking incoming goods against delivery paperwork, inspecting and reporting any damages
- Picking and packing orders, which involves collecting products and preparing for dispatch with the appropriate paperwork
- Stock management - conducting daily inventory checks and stocktakes
- Scheduling and ordering of daily transport requirements complying with safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment
- Provide day to day customer service and administration support to the Packaged Products Distribution team.
What are we looking for?
- Must have good interpersonal and organisation skills
- A demonstrable customer focus with a strong sense of service delivery
- Forklift Licence preferred
- Proven experience picking, packing, checking and dispatching of orders
- Inventory and stocktaking experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
