Reporting to the Logistics Manager, we are looking for an experienced and committed Logistics Supervisor. In this role you will be responsible for managing drivers and contractors ensuring they work within the applicable legislative requirements while developing and maintaining strategies that improve relationships with internal and external customers. Supervising all activities of the tipper fleet, contractor management and driver behaviour to ensure achievement of safety, operational, and compliance in accordance with Boral’s values and strategic plan.
Your day will involve, but are not limited to:
- Maintain a team environment
- Ensure that equipment is operated within safe working conditions and to ensure that Boral Logistics meets environmental and applicable legislative requirements;
- Participate in reviewing each driver’s performance within approved guidelines including Company and Contractor drivers;
- Conduct regular competency and skill assessments of team members to identify potential areas of improvement
- Conduct safety / toolbox meetings
- Conduct safety and regulatory audits
- Driver recruitment
- Incident investigations
- Inspection of job sites
- Deal with day to day operational issues across SEQ

- Proven Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Demonstrated experience in Transport and Logistics
- A strong commitment to safety and the environment
- A superior customer focus
- Intermediate computer skills
- Minimum Heavy Combination Drivers Licence (MC desirable)
