Based in Wacol and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we are looking for an experienced Mechanically trade qualified person, whose primary responsibility is to manage and carry out maintenance and repairs to all transit mixer equipment, both in the field and in workshop.

The successful applicant must be available to work afternoon shifts from 2:00PM-10:00PM plus additional over time. You will need to be available to travel between sites as required to meet operational requirements.

Your day will involve:

  • Maintenance of a wide range of transit mixer equipment, including preventative maintenance and defect repairs
  • General workshop duties which will include stocktaking and cleaning
  • Managing and maintaining service vehicles including inventory and stock management
  • Comply with Boral's Workplace Health and Safety requirements at all times
  • You will be required to work away once a month to Sunshine Coast across the required sites 

What are we looking for?

  • Mechanical Trade qualification & MR licence (favourable)
  • Experience in maintaining heavy mobile equipment
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Background in mechanics, hydraulics and auto electrical systems (viewed favourably)
  • Flexibility to work 14:00 – 02:00
