We’re hiring a skilled Plant Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment at our Charlton Quarry. Become an essential part of our dedicated team and help drive our operations forward.
Your day will involve:
- Operate quarry mobile plant and equipment (Haul Truck, Excavator, and/or Front-End Loader) safely and efficiently.
- Manage the operation of the crushing plant with precision.
- Perform basic maintenance and maintain plant cleanliness.
- Engage in problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in safety initiatives, including pre-start checks, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
What are we looking for?
- Experience with mobile plant operation is essential (Sales Loader experience is a bonus).
- HR truck licence is advantageous but not required.
- Quarry experience is valued but not necessary.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
- Available to work Monday to Saturday.
