Your next opportunity:

Boral Cement have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Team Leader to join our Marulan team.  In this key position, your responsibilities will cover planning and execution of critical maintenance work throughout the year to ensure our Site operates at desired OEEs and reliability.

As a leader and key influencer, you will have a direct impact on culture, employee engagement and ensuring ongoing team success and maintenance outcomes.

Your day will involve:

  • Allocation of work to mechanical team (daily and weekly)
  • Prioritisation of work when several competing tasks are needing to be completed
  • Run morning toolbox meetings
  • Management of work to ensure it’s completed safely, to the standard required and in the time allocated
  • Management of contractors
  • Interface with production and electrical department to co-ordinate both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Technical investigations into root cause of failures

What we are looking for:

  • Experience Fitters looking for that next step in becoming a leader
  • Leadership experience advantageous but not essential
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Flexible, enthusiastic attitude, reliability and attention to detail
  • Approach all you do in a safety first manner
