This is a hybrid logistics and training role responsible for supervising Concrite’s concrete agitator fleet operations while coordinating training and assessment across 11 sites in Sydney, the Southern Highlands, and the ACT. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you'll oversee contractor management, driver behaviour, safety, compliance, and cost performance, while ensuring all sites maintain trained and competent staff aligned with Boral’s operational and strategic goals.
You will be responsible for:

Overseeing day-to-day fleet operations, including 94 company and 30 subcontractor vehicles

Driving safety, operational efficiency, and compliance across all logistics functions

Managing contractor performance and driver behaviour in line with Boral’s Zero Harm principles

Coordinating and delivering training and assessments across multiple sites

Maintaining and updating competency records in MyLearning and supporting site managers with training data

Working closely with Area Managers to identify training gaps and develop targeted action plans

Supporting financial performance by actively contributing to cost control and distribution profitability
What you'll bring:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (preferred)

HR Heavy Vehicle License (preferred)

At least 5 years’ experience in logistics operations and training

Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the transport and logistics sector

Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for safety and continuous improvement
