As a Boral driver based at Cadia Valley Operations, an underground gold mine approximately 30 kms south of Orange, you will play a key role in supporting key construction activity. You will be trained by dedicated internal and external staff in the safe operation of agitator trucks underground, and you will be guided on how to deliver general construction concrete, shotcrete and high strength roadway infills to complete production and development requirements for our client.

This role is based on a 7 day on, 7 day off roster, from Thursday to Wednesday. The roster will alternate between day and night shifts.

Your day will involve:

• Conduct daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating our agitator trucks in a safe manner
• Manage slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (training provided)
• Deliver concrete to customer sites and partnering with clients effectively to maintain service
• Complete basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete
• Communicate effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences
• Comply with Boral values and mining regulations

What are we looking for?

• Previous mining or concrete experience is advantageous
• Current HR drivers' licence with heavy vehicle driving experience preferred
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster with day and night shifts
