Your next opportunity:  

Our Boral Asphalt team have a great opportunity for an experienced Resource Scheduler to join our friendly team in Williamstown, VIC 3016.

Through effective communication and planning, you will be responsible for coordinating the contracting operations for our Williamstown and Geelong Region in asphalt and spray seal operation - this will include the coordination of Asphalt supply and raw materials, subcontractors, equipment and labour for multiple crews. The role will also be responsible for an element of compliance such as scheduled training, VOC, and inductions for employees and subcontractors.

Your day will involve:

• Effectively planning and coordinating of works to ensure time and budgetary objectives are achieved
• Collaboration with internal team members, locally and regionally, and external customers to ensure effective allocation of resources
• Review and optimise labour utilisation, plant and equipment maintenance and availability
• Coordination and management of subcontractors
• Coordination of business training
• Purchasing, payroll, job costing and other admin duties as required
• HSEQ support for the business

What we are looking for:

• Experience in a senior Administration, Scheduling or Coordination (or similar) role within a similar industry
• Purchasing, payroll and job costing experience will be highly regarded
• Ability to establish strong working relationship with our contractors, clients and our team members
• Heavy Vehicle and Chain of Responsibility knowledge (desirable)
• Excellent communication and practical project management skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Highly developed computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
