About the Role
Based in Baulkham Hills, we are looking for a responsible and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Technical Officer. Reporting directly to the Laboratory Section Head, this role will provide support to the Lab Manager in the daily operation of the Laboratory. Build professional relationships with customers and internal teams, sign concrete test reports, support Trial Mix coordination, the concrete billing process, and assist with overall compliance and productivity of the Concrete Lab.
- Support the Lab Manager in the overall operation of the Concrete Lab daily
- Service Customers to receive results in a timely manner
- Coordinate testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
- Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
- Maintenance of the Laboratory according to NATA accreditation requirements.
About You
- Previous concrete laboratory testing
- Nata signatory for concrete testing
- Cert IV Laboratory Techniques or relevant tertiary qualifications in science or similar discipline
- Strong understanding of reporting systems such as Qest Lab, Microsoft Excel, etc.
- A commitment to safety and quality - Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards
- Strong time management and organisational skills
