Plant Assistant

Your next opportunity  

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will participate in the day-to-day site operations, and proficient operation of both plant and mobile equipment at our Blacktown Concrete Plant.

Your day will involve: 

  • Perform basic housekeeping tasks such as cleaning shovelling, sweeping and hosing
  • Safely operate a forklift and Front End Loader
  • Assist with the batching of concrete
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensuring Boral Policies are adhered to
  • Assisting the plant supervisor with any ad hoc duties
  • Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting

What are we looking for? 

  • A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus 
  • Forklift licence and Front End Loader ticket – preferable
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensuring Boral Policies are adhered to
  • Sound computer literacy working with multiple systems and safety reporting
