Are you an experienced MR Driver looking to take the next step in your career? Join our team based in Sunshine Coast, where you'll have the opportunity to combine driving responsibilities with hands-on batching experience and develop your skills across both areas of the concrete operation.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of the concrete industry and is looking for a pathway into batching while remaining connected to daily customer deliveries.
Working closely with our operations team, you'll safely deliver concrete to customers, support plant operations, learn concrete batching processes, and play an important role in ensuring high-quality product and service outcomes every day.
Your day will involve:
- Safely operating an agitator truck and completing customer deliveries
- Conducting daily vehicle pre-starts and maintaining safety standards
- Learning and undertaking concrete batching activities to specified mix designs
- Allocating trucks and supporting the smooth operation of the concrete plant
- Completing basic delivery and production documentation
- Working closely with customers, drivers, and plant staff to meet operational requirements
- General yard housekeeping and plant maintenance activities
What are we looking for?
- Current MR Licence and heavy vehicle driving experience
- A strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork
- Interest in developing a long-term career in concrete operations
- Sound communication and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new systems
- Concrete industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential
