Your next opportunity
Based in Milton, you will provide support for our customers in relation to orders and general enquiries. Working within our busy Customer Service Centre, you'll play a key role in ensuring orders are accurately processed and delivered on time.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working on a monthly rotating roster, with shift start and finish times between 5:30am and 4:45pm Monday to Friday. Rotating Saturday roster between 530am to 12pm.
Your day will involve:
- Receiving customer orders and entering them into our systems accurately and efficiently (with training provided)
- Monitor progress of deliveries and provide delivery status information to the customer, using vehicle tracking systems
- Understand production capabilities of the Boral plant and truck network
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Working collaboratively with operational teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
What are we looking for?
- A reliable, professional team player who enjoys working alongside colleagues in the office
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Contact centre or call centre experience will be highly regarded
- Exposure to the construction, building materials, logistics, or a related industry is advantageous
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- High attention to detail and confidence using computer systems
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
