At Boral, we're looking for an experienced and safety-focused Batcher to join our Concrete team in Orange, NSW. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering quality concrete products while ensuring efficient plant operations and exceptional service to our customers.

About the Role
As a Batcher, you will be responsible for the accurate production and batching of concrete, ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to specification. You'll coordinate daily plant activities, support safe and efficient site operations, and contribute to maintaining our high standards of quality and customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately batching concrete to specified mix designs and customer requirements
- Managing daily batch plant operations and administration
- Allocating trucks and coordinating deliveries to maximise operational efficiency
- Monitoring product quality and ensuring compliance with operational procedures
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised plant environment
- Operating a front-end loader where required (training can be provided)
- Supporting agitator truck operations when needed
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is passionate about safety, customer service and operational excellence.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Concrete Batcher or within the concrete industry
- Strong knowledge of concrete production processes and quality requirements
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Sound computer skills and confidence using plant operating systems
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- A commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and positive team culture
- HR licence and/or front-end loader ticket (desirable but not essential)
