Based in Southern Highlands and reporting to the General Manager, Concrite currently seeks an experienced Area Manager whose primary focus will be overseeing the management of the Concrite business located Picton, Mossvale & Miitagong.  

Your day will involve:  

• Ensuring all day-to-day operational targets are achieved including safety, sales, financial, and quality.  
• Establishing and maintaining strategic customer relationships.  
• Building and growing the business across the region.  
• Planning, setting, monitoring and measuring employee performance against individual goals and performance indicators.  
• Evaluating team effectiveness and coaching team members to achieve superior business performance in line with their development. 
• Effective delivery of profit targets through best utilisation of financial, people and capital resources.  
• Coordinating plant & truck maintenance, repairs and on-going maintenance. 

 What are we looking for? 

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally providing asset related services  
• Experience within the Concrete or Engineering Construction industries will be highly regarded 
• Strong sales and customer service experience, with effective stakeholder management abilities 
• History of multi-site management 
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (highly regarded) 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with strong emotional intelligence 
• Proven experience in managing a team that meets or exceeds production budget (volume, cost and profit).
