Your next opportunity:
 
As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the site's electrical assets to ensure safe and reliable plant operation. This hands-on role offers a diverse range of maintenance, fault-finding, and project work within a large industrial manufacturing environment.
 
What you will do:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Install, upgrade, and commission electrical equipment in accordance with Australian Standards and site requirements.
  • Maintain motors, drives, control systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance plant reliability and performance.
  • Work closely with operations, reliability, mechanical maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve site objectives.
  • Participate in intermittent shift work and provide support during plant shutdowns and major maintenance activities.
What We Are Looking For
  • A current Electrical Trade Qualification.
  • Industrial electrical experience, preferably within manufacturing, mining, heavy industry, or related environments.
  • Experience with motors, drives, motor control centres, and control systems.
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
  • Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team.
  • An Electrical Supervisor's Licence or equivalent qualification will be highly regarded.
