(HEO 4) $71,460 $ - $78,326 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation will apply 

Multiple full-time fixed term contracts until 31 December 2025 (Part-time negotiable) 

Work across the Teaching Innovation Unit (TIU), Learning Enhancement & Innovation (LEI) & the Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Adelaide CBD

About the role 

Your role will involve supporting the migration of existing courses from the University of Adelaide and UniSA’s legacy Learning Management Systems (LMS) into Adelaide University’s new Canvas environment. This includes data entry and ensuring that migrated courses retain their functional equivalency in the new system. While you won’t be responsible for performing the migration itself or improving course content, your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining consistency and functionality in the new LMS.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Support the migration of Adelaide University courses from existing platforms ensuring the content is equivalent in functionality in the new platform/s. 
  • Edit and/or redevelop existing learning resources for new Adelaide University courses within the learning management system (Canvas).
  • Assist with the migration and updating of course assets, such as H5P activities, LinkedIn Learning embeddings and media files.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure course builds are adequately prepared for teaching purposes. 
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all internal stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle 

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Working knowledge of learning management systems, ideally Canvas.  
  • Basic proficiency in using technology tools and a willingness to learn and stay current with emerging educational technologies.   
  • High level verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse internal stakeholders and to provide regular updates and feedback throughout the development lifecycle.   
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.  
  • Previous experience working in an administrative role in a team based service environment.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.   
  • High attention to detail to ensure all learning materials meet the university’s quality standards and guidelines
