Manager, Church Relations Malibu Campus
The Manager, church relations position is an integral part of the Spiritual Life team here at Pepperdine University! This position will coordinate and manage the ministries and programs of the department, as well as oversee its administrative responsibilities.
Associate Director of Residence Life Malibu Campus
The Associate Director (AD) of Residence Life is a live-on position that directly supports the work of Housing and Residence Life by giving primary oversight to full-time Resident Directors and Graduate Assistants, Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I) summer interns, Resident Advisor/Spiritual Life Advisor selection process, department assessment, assists with formation/training and other department initiatives. This position oversees the apartment communities on campus and supervises professional staff and graduate student leaders who serve those communities. As a staff member in Student Affairs who works closely with students, this person serves as a Christian role model and promotes a biblical worldview.
Manager, Human Resources (HR Business Partner), Malibu Malibu Campus
The Manager of Human Resources (HR Business Partner) provides a full range of high-level Human Resources support for colleagues at Pepperdine’s Malibu Campus. This role is responsible for strategic and operational workforce support for Malibu constituents. As a member of the University’s Human Resources team, the Manager provides the highest quality service to employees, supervisors, and executive leadership. Reflecting the University's mission and values in all interactions, this position is critical to attracting, retaining, and developing the best workforce for Pepperdine University.
Assistant Director for Church Relations Malibu Campus
The Assistant Director will work with the Director of Ministry Outreach to plan Harbor (the annual Bible lectures) and will oversee the execution of required tasks to conduct the annual conference. The Assistant Director will also oversee the departmental operations associated with managing communications and budget planning.
Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President Malibu Campus
The Executive Assistant will perform day-to-day administrative and clerical work essential for the smooth operation of the Office of the Executive Vice President (EVP). The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks and will be able to work independently, while also being a solutions-oriented team player with a demonstrated ability to build relationships. The candidate must be exceedingly well-organized and enjoy the administrative challenges inherent in supporting an office with diverse projects and rapidly changing priorities. The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient is essential. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Administration and Chief of Staff to the EVP. High levels of professionalism and confidentiality are crucial to this role. The candidate must possess problem-solving skills on a myriad of levels, from managing complex schedules to refining existing policies. They should be able to assess the status quo, identify the desired final product, and create an appropriate action plan. Advanced written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability, and keen attention to detail are equally important.
