As a member of the Web and Performance Marketing team within the Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) department, the Web and UX Specialist is responsible for shaping the digital user experience across Pepperdine’s public-facing websites. They will utilize skills in content strategy, user experience, design, and web development to improve clarity, usability, consistency, and the overall digital experience through user-centered design and execution on our websites. The Web and UX Specialist also collaborates with the University’s SEO and AI Search initiatives to ensure Pepperdine’s websites are optimized for both human users and AI-powered search experiences. This position supports our mission by standardizing digital experiences that promote the “brand” to our audiences and drives some of our essential recruitment and affinity web presences.
Director of Marketing and Communications, Graduate School of Education and Psychology Calabasas Campus
The Director of Marketing for the Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) reports to the Senior Director of Client Relations and serves as the primary communications, brand, and growth leader, acting as a strategic partner to the Dean, faculty, and school leadership. This essential role is the dedicated co-architect of high-quality, data-informed strategies that ensure the college’s objectives align seamlessly with the university’s brand, mission, and long-term vision. The Director is accountable for the integrated planning and execution of all marketing and communications efforts across three key areas: School Marketing (collaborating with centralized enrollment marketing, web, communications, and creative teams to drive applications and funnel development through print, digital, social, web, and other channels); Profile-Raising (strengthening the school’s brand through PR, rankings, and multimedia content); and Advancement and Alumni Engagement (supporting the relevant advancement/ alumni engagement leaders in the college as well as the centralized alumni communications team). As the central point of contact for GSEP, the Director manages all constituent support requests, utilizing research and analysis to improve strategies and ensure the timely delivery of strategic and tactical support. This role is crucial in reinforcing the university’s Christ-centered commitment in external and internal communications.

The Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment Marketing plays a key role in supporting the execution of Pepperdine University’s enrollment marketing strategy, advancing the institution’s mission to prepare students for lives of purpose, service, and leadership. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Marketing, this position manages day-to-day marketing operations with a focus on email communications, content development, project coordination, analytics, and creative production. The Assistant Director collaborates with admissions, school-based marketing teams, and the broader Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) division to ensure that marketing initiatives are effective, timely, and mission-aligned. This position contributes to multiple areas, including managing enrollment-focused email calendars, supporting campaign automation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, coordinating creative and content projects, and supporting SEO, AI visibility, and website updates. The role also assists with PR efforts, rankings visibility, event promotion, and the development of print and premium materials. Through strong project management, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, the Assistant Director ensures that enrollment marketing efforts are executed with excellence, supporting prospective student engagement and institutional growth, ensuring all touchpoints align with Pepperdine’s commitment to excellence, service, and hospitality.
