Associate Editor Calabasas Campus
The associate editor creates content for Pepperdine communication channels aimed at supporting and elevating the Pepperdine brand, building reputation, and strengthening affinity. The associate editor seeks to identify compelling Pepperdine stories and envisions new ways to communicate them across media. This position reports to the associate director of communications and editorial. Integrated Marketing Communications is directly tasked with supporting the University's mission and strategic plan by building brand equity, elevating the University's national reputation, providing strong and consistent institutional message leadership, and implementing effective integrated marketing and communication strategies. The associate editor fulfills an important role in helping the department accomplish its goals.
Assistant Vice Chancellor, Parent and Family Development Malibu Campus
Reporting to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Development, this position works closely with the Senior Vice Chancellor for Development and colleagues across Advancement. The Assistant Vice Chancellor, Parent and Family Philanthropy serves as the major gift officer and fundraising strategist with a primary focus on raising major gifts of $25,000+ while managing a major gift portfolio of approximately 120 prospects to meet assigned fundraising goals and objectives. The AVC will identify and cultivate Pepperdine University's current parents, develop relationships toward solicitations, and coordinate the involvement of other administrators, faculty, alumni, and volunteers in the process.
Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development, School of Public Policy and Caruso School of Law Malibu Campus
The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development at the School of Public Policy and Caruso School of Law is responsible for building prospect and donor relationships, raising financial support, and increasing the donor base for Pepperdine's School of Public Policy (SPP) and Caruso School of Law (CSOL). This position focuses primarily on major and principal gift donors with a capacity to make gifts of $10K to $100K. The Assistant/Associate Vice Chancellor will also be responsible for building alumni engagement and strengthening relationships with alumni. The success of our mission to strengthen lives for purpose, service, and leadership depends largely on strong financial support from donors who enable us to provide the facilities, programs, faculty, and opportunities necessary to provide stellar, mission-driven programs for our students. This position also helps to build enduring alumni loyalty in keeping with the University's strategic plan.
Landscape and Irrigation Supervisor Malibu Campus
Under the direction of the Manager of Landscape and Irrigation Services in the Department of Facilities Services (DFS), supervises aspects of the Landscape and Irrigation division to ensure an aesthetically pleasing, safe, and clean University environment. Supervises Landscape and Irrigation personnel and oversees relevant horticulture, irrigation, erosion control, exterior furniture and grounds maintenance processes.
Maintenance Electrician Malibu Campus
Under the direction of the Manager, Maintenance Services and the Supervisor, Maintenance Services for Department of Facilities Services (DFS) and in collaboration with your colleagues, respond to work order requests and supervisors' directions to perform installation, repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, components, and fixtures throughout campus. Collaborate with DFS and other University departments to initiate and deliver high-quality projects on budget and in a timely manner.
Controls Technician Malibu Campus
Under the direction of the Manager, Maintenance Services and the Supervisor, Mechanical Services for the Department of Facilities Services (DFS) and in collaboration with your colleagues, oversee the Energy Management System (EMS) that controls building automation systems, maintain optimum operating levels, ensure system integration and coordination. Closely collaborate with your colleagues in the Department of Design and Construction (DDC), Planning, Operations, and Construction (POC), and other University departments to support daily operations and initiate and deliver projects, on budget and on schedule.
