About the role
An opportunity has arisen in our Road and Work Injuries team for a Legal Assistant on a full-time permanent basis in our Craigieburn office. Working in a small office you will provide quality administrative and legal assistance working alongside a friendly, close-knit team.
The successful candidate will be willing to grow and develop their skills in a busy role whilst using their strong client service skills to support our clients. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to answering and managing incoming calls, diary management, liaising with clients (both internal and external), file management and providing day-to-day administrative support.
The experience we are looking for
- Experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a plaintiff law firm or assistant in a professional services firm is desirable
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Enthusiasm and initiative
- Confidence in fast paced environments with tenacity to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Excellent and tactful communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
- Proven ability to build strong relationships
- Able to use judgement about escalation of issues / information to Supervisor
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
