We work on real cases, achieving important and positive results in real people’s lives, which is why we are one of Australia’s most respected law firms. Maurice Blackburn, experience you can count on.

About the role

Maurice Blackburn has a long history of practising in abuse law, and of advocating on the part of survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This is a unique opportunity to establish credentials and expertise in a developing area of law.

We are looking for a passionate Lawyer/Associate (3+ years PAE) to join a collaborative and high performing team. The role has flexibility to be based out of our Brisbane, Maroochydore or Darwin office.

Reporting to a Principal in the Abuse Law team, you will be constantly challenged by using your technical knowledge and experience in personal injuries litigation to strive for fair outcomes for our clients. With your strong client focus and passion for helping people you will foster and manage relationships with referrers and other external parties while also looking to grow our incredible practice. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to manage conflicting business needs and deadlines will enable you to thrive in this role.
