About the role
Our Public Liability team are committed to supporting people who are hurt in a public place as a result of another individual or an organisation’s negligent behaviour and guide them on how they may be covered by public liability law and be eligible to receive compensation. Now that’s a job with strong purpose!
We are seeking an energetic, client-focused Senior Associate to join our friendly and experienced Public Liability team on a full-time, permanent basis. With a diverse client base, the work is challenging and rewarding with excellent career development opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Personal Injuries as well as a proven record of achieving excellent outcomes for their clients. You will have proven technical skills in conducting Public and Product Liability Claims and be experienced in managing your own file load. With demonstrated decision making and analytical skills, you will also be a strong communicator and a team player.
The experience we are looking for
- 5+ years PAE within Public Liability, Personal injury, Medical Negligence or Litigation environment
- A strong knowledge of the relevant procedural rules relevant to Public and Product Liability Claims
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Demonstrated capacity in executing business development and marketing strategies in the legal field
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience providing high level client service
- Demonstrated proactive approach to file management
- Willingness to assist other team members, especially junior solicitors
- Experience working in a high volume work environment
Your responsibilities will include running personal injury files, supervising team members running personal injuries files, team management, with a key focus on building the practice. You will also help to oversee the financial performance of the office and help support day to day management of office matters.
